Cookie Policy
This page explains how YardCalc uses cookies and browser storage. The short version is that the site does not set tracking cookies.

What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser. Local storage is a related way to keep small amounts of data in the browser. Both can be used for essential features or for tracking.
What YardCalc currently uses
YardCalc does not set tracking cookies and does not save your calculator inputs to cookies or local storage. Calculations run in your browser, and share links carry inputs only inside the link you choose to copy. Your browser may keep its own standard cache, which YardCalc does not control or read.
Essential storage
No custom essential cookies are required to use the calculators. The tools work without storing anything between visits.
Analytics cookies
YardCalc does not use analytics cookies at this time. If analytics are added later, this page will be updated to name them and describe your choices before they are enabled.
Advertising cookies
YardCalc does not use advertising cookies at this time. If advertising is added later, this page will be updated and any required consent controls will be in place first.
Third-party cookies
Pages may link to other websites. Those sites can set their own cookies, which are governed by their policies, not this one.
Cookie duration categories
When cookies are used, they are usually grouped as session cookies, which end when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which last for a set time. YardCalc does not currently set either type.
Browser controls
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Because YardCalc does not rely on cookies, blocking them does not affect the calculators.
Consent choices
Since no tracking or advertising cookies are used, there is no consent banner. If that changes, a clear consent choice will be added where it is required.
Updates
This page will be updated if the way YardCalc uses cookies or storage changes. The review date appears at the top.
