YardCalc is a library of construction and landscaping material calculators. The goal is simple: help you estimate how much material a project needs, in the units suppliers actually use, with math you can follow and check.
Who this is for
The tools are built for homeowners planning a weekend project, contractors pricing a job, and landscape professionals ordering in bulk. Content is written for the United States, using feet, inches, cubic yards, and US short tons.
Practical calculations
Every calculator focuses on a real ordering decision. We report volume in the units you need, keep inputs simple, and avoid clutter so the calculator stays the focus of the page.
Transparent formulas and sources
Each page shows its formula and a worked example. Material specific values such as density, coverage, and bag yields are reviewed and sourced before they appear in any result. When a value has not been verified, we do not display it.
No invented credentials
We do not publish fake team biographies, company history, reviews, or certifications. Verified editorial and review profiles will be added before public launch.
