Accessibility Statement

YardCalc aims to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes what we do and how to report a problem.

Our commitment

We want the calculators and content to be easy to operate for all users. We aim to follow recognized accessibility practices, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task.

What we build for

  • Keyboard navigation for interactive controls
  • Clear, connected form labels and error messages
  • Visible focus states
  • Readable color contrast
  • Responsive layouts that work on small screens
  • Semantic headings and content structure
  • Tables marked up with proper headers
  • Accessible labels on diagrams and SVG visuals

Known limitations

Some areas may not yet be perfect across every browser, device, and assistive technology. We have not completed a formal third-party audit, so we do not claim certified conformance. We fix issues as we find them and as they are reported.

Report an accessibility problem

If something is hard to use, please tell us what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser, or assistive technology you used. We will look into it and work to improve.

Continuous improvement

Accessibility is part of how we review and update the site. As tools and content change, we keep working to make them clearer and easier to use.
